Behind the loan:

This featured project showcases a six-unit multifamily development in Southern California that was approximately 35% complete when TaliMar Financial provided financing. The borrower sought additional liquidity to pursue another investment opportunity while keeping construction on track.

By structuring a customized loan with a construction fund control holdback, TaliMar helped the borrower continue progress efficiently without disrupting the project’s timeline. As construction advances toward completion, the development is expected to add six new housing units to the local market, demonstrating how flexible private financing can support both immediate project needs and long-term investment goals.

As we begin 2026, we’re encouraged by the continued growth and stability of the TaliMar Income Fund in an increasingly competitive lending environment. During the first quarter of 2026, the fund continued to expand its portfolio while maintaining a disciplined approach to underwriting, liquidity, and risk management. With approximately $140 million across 113 active loans and no delinquencies reported at quarter-end, the portfolio remains well-positioned across core real estate markets.
